Suggested Moments

Morning, Afternoon, Before Journaling, Before Creative Work

A thoughtful blend of lemon balm, tulsi, and rosemary created to encourage clarity, reflection, and gentle focus during quiet moments of work or contemplation.

There are days when the mind feels like an open browser with too many tabs. Thoughts overlap. Ideas compete for attention. Even moments of quiet seem crowded.

Quiet Mind Tea was created for those seasons.

Lemon balm gently softens the edges of a busy mind, tulsi offers steadiness and perspective, while rosemary contributes its long association with memory, clarity, and thoughtful attention. Together they create a cup that feels less like a pause button and more like an invitation to return to yourself.

This is not a tea for emptying the mind.

It is a tea for listening to it with greater kindness.

For one cup:

  • 1 teaspoon dried lemon balm

  • 1 teaspoon dried tulsi (holy basil)

  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary

  • 1 cup freshly boiled water

Optional:

  • Honey

  • Lemon peel

Preparation

Combine the herbs in a tea infuser, teapot, or heatproof mug.

Pour freshly boiled water over the herbs.

Cover and steep for five to seven minutes.

Strain and enjoy warm before beginning work, study, journaling, meditation, or any practice that asks for quiet attention.

A Gentle Companion To...

external-file_edited_edited.png

Quiet Mind Tea naturally accompanies reflective practices.

Keep it nearby while journaling, reading, creating, or spending time outdoors. It also makes a beautiful companion during periods of transition, when decisions feel heavy or the mind is searching for certainty.

Sometimes the answers we seek are already present.

We simply need enough stillness to hear them.

Notes

Using What You Have

Fresh ginger may be substituted for dried ginger for a brighter, more aromatic cup. Honey or a thin slice of fresh lemon can be added after steeping if desired, though the tea is equally lovely enjoyed on its own.

A Gentle Reminder

Meals often mark more than hunger. They become celebrations, conversations, reunions, and ordinary evenings shared with the people we love. Allow this tea to become part of the quiet that follows, creating space to linger a little longer before returning to the rest of your day.

Carry This Forward

A quiet mind is not one without thoughts.

It is a mind that no longer feels the need to chase every one of them.

As you sip this blend, notice which thoughts deserve your attention today—and which can simply drift past like clouds moving across the sky.

Presence is rarely found by forcing silence.

More often, it arrives when we create enough gentleness for it to enter on its own.
