Suggested Moments

At the First Signs of Seasonal Change, Morning, Afternoon

A grounding blend of nettle, calendula, and tulsi created to accompany seasonal change with steadiness, nourishment, and gentle presence.

Nature rarely changes all at once.

Winter slowly softens into spring. Summer gently gives way to autumn. Even when the shift feels sudden, the landscape has often been preparing long before we notice it.

Our own lives move in much the same way.

Seasonal Transition Tea was created to accompany those moments of change. Whether the calendar is turning, routines are shifting, or life itself is asking something new of us, this blend offers a quiet reminder that transitions deserve care.

Nettle brings deep nourishment, calendula contributes warmth and gentle brightness, while tulsi offers steadiness through seasons of movement and uncertainty.

Rather than resisting change, this tea invites us to move with it.

For one cup:

  • 1 teaspoon dried nettle

  • 1 teaspoon dried calendula petals

  • ½ teaspoon dried tulsi (holy basil)

  • 1 cup freshly boiled water

Optional:

  • Honey

  • Lemon

Preparation

Combine the herbs in a tea infuser, teapot, or heatproof mug.

Pour freshly boiled water over the herbs.

Cover and steep for seven to ten minutes, allowing the nettle and calendula to fully release their colour, flavour, and nourishing qualities.

Strain before drinking and enjoy warm.

A Gentle Companion To...

external-file_edited_edited.png

Seasonal Transition Tea is especially comforting during the first cool mornings of autumn, the first warm afternoons of spring, or any time your daily rhythms begin to shift.

It also pairs beautifully with seasonal housekeeping, changing wardrobes, preparing the garden, or reflecting on what the closing season has taught you before welcoming the next.

Like nature itself, transitions do not need to be hurried.

Notes

A Gentle Reminder

Many people enjoy preparing this tea at the beginning of spring and again at the beginning of autumn, allowing the ritual itself to become part of welcoming a new season.

Carry This Forward

The seasons never ask the trees to bloom forever.

Nor do they expect the leaves to remain green through winter.

Every living thing is allowed to change.

Perhaps we are, too.

As the world quietly transforms around you, let this cup become a reminder that growth often begins not with dramatic change, but with the willingness to step gently into what comes next.
