All Seasons
The Waxing Moon is a season of steady growth. This simple ritual invites you to return to the intention you planted at the New Moon and consider one small way you can continue nurturing it.
Tend the seed. Trust the process.
After the quiet beginning of the New Moon, the Moon slowly gathers light.
You may not notice the change from one evening to the next, yet each night it grows a little brighter.
Growth often looks like this in our own lives.
Rarely dramatic.
Usually quiet.
The Waxing Moon reminds us that meaningful change is not built through one perfect moment. It is built through many small moments of returning to what matters.
Purpose
To reconnect with your intention and choose one small way to support its growth.
When To Return To This Ritual
Return during the Waxing Moon, whenever you feel ready to take another gentle step toward the intention you planted at the New Moon.
Gather
Your journal
Your New Moon intention, if you wrote one
A pen
A warm drink, if you would like one
Fifteen to twenty quiet minutes
Natural Companions
If this resonates with you...
Natural Companions
Green Aventurine: A companion for growth, possibility, and steady progress.
Moss Agate: A reminder that lasting growth happens gradually.
Nettle: A nourishing ally that reflects resilience and steady strength.
Tulsi: A supportive companion when you need courage to keep showing up.
Rosemary: A gentle ally for clarity, focus, and remembering what matters.
Choose whatever feels supportive. The ritual is complete with or without these companions.
Prepare Your Space
Find a quiet place where you can sit comfortably.
If you have a permanent altar, you may wish to spend a few moments there. If not, simply gather your journal and settle somewhere you won't be interrupted.
There is nothing elaborate to prepare.
Your attention is enough.
Before You Begin

Read the intention you wrote at the New Moon.
Pause before asking yourself whether you've "made progress."
Instead, notice how this intention has lived beside you over the past days.
Has it stayed close to your heart?
Have you forgotten it entirely?
Have you begun moving toward it without even realizing it?
Simply notice.
Step One
Read your intention slowly.
Imagine it as a seed beneath the soil.
You cannot see everything happening below the surface, but that does not mean growth isn't taking place.
Write down one thing that already feels different, even if it seems very small.
Step Two
Ask yourself:
What is helping this intention grow?
What feels encouraging?
What has made this easier than I expected?
Notice what is already supporting you.
Growth is often easier to continue than to begin.
Step Three
Choose one gentle action you can take over the coming days.
Keep it intentionally small.
A five-minute walk.
Sending one email.
Preparing one nourishing meal.
Reading one chapter.
Making one difficult phone call.
The goal is not to accomplish everything.
It is simply to continue.
Step Four
Write this sentence:
This week, I will support my intention by...
Finish it with the small action you chose.
Allow that to be enough.
Step Five
Over the coming days, return to your intention from time to time.
Not to measure yourself.
Not to judge your progress.
Simply to remember what you are growing.
Just as a gardener checks the soil, waters the seedling, and notices the weather without expecting a flower overnight, allow yourself to offer quiet, consistent care.
The Full Moon will soon offer a chance to pause and see what has become clearer. Until then, your work is simply to keep tending.
Reflection
Growth rarely announces itself.
Often, we only recognize it when we look back and realize we have become someone slightly different than we were before.
The Waxing Moon reminds us that every meaningful life is built through ordinary moments repeated with care.
Journal Prompt
What small act of care would help my intention grow this week?
Closing Blessing

May you trust the quiet work of becoming. May your small actions gather into lasting change, and may you remember that steady growth is every bit as meaningful as dramatic transformation.
